Green & Black’s chocolate was developed by Craig Sams and Jo Fairley, a young couple with virtually no cash.

The chocolate was ‘green’ because it was organic and ‘black’ because it used to be the darkest chocolate on the market. No other brand has done
more to convince the world that Fairtrade and organic methods of production are practical and desirable.
