Wild Honey

Mayfair eatery

Award winning restaurant, opened in Mayfair 2007 by Celebrity chef Anthony Demetre and the charming Will Smith of Putney Bridge Restaurant and L'Odeon. Sister restaurant to the well known and feted Arbutus (pronounced Ar Bew Tus in Frith Street, Soho.
Offering cheaper cuts that some chefs might consider off cuts, combined with seasonal fare, has resulted in delicious combinations and very reasonable prices for the quality of cooking and the area. The wines can be bought by the carafe, which are about 1/3 of a bottle,
so you can sample a few of the choices on the the rather interesting wine list.
There are three course set lunches for £18.95, and a la carte entrees for around £18 to £22.00: There are good cheese choices and the dishes delightful .

Do try the Venison, which was described by the waiter as gamey!, well it is no!, it was super and substantial. The Loin of Veal, which was so soft I could have cut it with a spoon. Desserts are super, well presented and perfectly cooked
Well worth a trip, do not forget to book, as it is in a very popular location and is very fashionable. tel 020 7758 9160 www.wildhoneyrestaurant.co.uk
